Adult Ed. Jan. 7

January 7 - “Our Stories Matter” continues with a presentation by Ana Gschwend, a self-described "scrappy girl in a scrappy world". Ana has been part of the Bethel community for about 16 years. Ana’s story of living with blindness and overcoming numerous challenges, big and small, in a world designed primarily for the sighted, will be a welcome addition to the arc of stories that we have shared over the last year. Come hear her tell about her life’s joys, challenges and resilience, including throughout her time at Bethel. She is grateful to have many Bethelites, as she puts it, in her corner.

January 14 - Byron Rempel-Burkholder will share some historical perspectives on the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

January 21- Irma Fast Dueck will invite us to feast together on a buffet of stories, personal and Biblical, alongside our own shared encounters with food and faith. Biography: Irma Fast Dueck - food partaker, maker, baker, with a side of theologian.
