Our worship through the month of October invites us into this season of thanksgiving through the theme of food. The daily bread that we receive is a critical way in which we experience the love and care of God, and so the Bible is full of stories in which God’s people are fed. This week we explore Jesus’ parable of the Great Dinner, shared during a meal at which Jesus was a guest. As always, Jesus’ stories leave us with lots to wonder and lots to imagine – not to mention lots to taste!
