The Gospel of Luke relates how Jesus ushered in the Kingdom of God while offering an account of Jesus’ birth, life, death, and resurrection. Jesus’ ministry drew crowds who came to witness his miracles and listen to his teaching—and yet that same teaching went against social and political norms and challenged what people had expected from a Messiah. As we follow the Lectionary through several of Luke's stories of Jesus and accounts of Jesus’ teachings over the four Sundays in February, how will we respond to this invitation to live according to the Jesus way?
