Our worship through the month of October invites us into this season of thanksgiving through the theme of food. The daily bread that we receive is a critical way in which we experience the love and care of God, and so the Bible is full of stories in which God’s people are fed. This week the theme of food dovetails with our marking of Mennonite Church Canada’s International Witness Sunday. We are excited to welcome Danika Gingerich to share with us. Danika grew up in Burkina Faso as her family served with Mennonite Church Canada, and now studies at Canadian Mennonite University. She is also our local representative to the Mennonite World Conference Global Youth Summit happening this spring in Germany.
