Operations Executive
Property Management
We are responsible for maintaining the church building and grounds. We also communicate and coordinate needs with long term community partners that utilize Bethel’s facilities.
We support these different groups and programs:
Finance and Administration
Property Management
Rentals
Legacy Fund
Stewardship Task Force
Finance and Administration
We are responsible for the overall administration and management of the church’s finances. The church treasurer prepares monthly financial reports for review by the Operations Executive and Church Council. We ensure the annual budget is presented to the congregation for approval. We engage a professional accounting firm to review and provide the final financial reports.
Rentals
Bethel Mennonite Church strives to be a welcoming and active member in the community. This includes making the various spaces within the church building available for rent. Many spaces are available for rent and are available to both church members as well as non-members. These spaces vary in size and amenities to meet your rental needs.
Bethel Legacy Fund
While our faith invites us to contribute to the current work of the church, it also invites us to reach into the future. To support our mission in this way, Bethel Mennonite Church has established a Legacy Fund.
The Legacy Fund receives contributions in support of the core mission of Bethel. Its primary use is to underwrite or subsidize special projects or initiatives which further that core mission. Program initiatives are privileged, but neither capital projects nor support of the annual budget are prohibited. Projects or programs can be allocated funding for a 2–3-year period, but normally will not receive on-going funding.
You are invited to support the Legacy Fund with a gift now, or through a designation in your will.
To discuss options for making such a gift, or to make an application to receive funds for a special project, please contact the church office or contact the Chair of our Bethel Legacy Fund Committee directly.
